Determine Filters

This step determines fundamental filter settings based on the given query. It generates and sets an originalItemType filter, author filter, time frame filter on lastModifiedDate and a sort order on lastModifiedDate, depending on the intent of the query. Afterwards, the step will rephrase the query so that the filter data is not repeat in the query anymore.

  1. Large language model: here you need to choose one of the defined large language models in Managing Large Language Models

  2. Determine author filter: if set to true, you need to specify a search engine. Based on this, the step will send the query to the search engine and will generate a valid author filter list.
