Getting Started

On-Premises Installation as Windows or Linux Service

The following steps are common setup steps for our RheinInsights Retrieval Suite.

  1. Acquire a license

  2. Prepare the prerequisites for productive scenarios, as described at Technical Prerequisites

  3. Deploy the RheinInsights Retrieval Suite Deployment and Base Configuration

  4. Execute https://<baseurl>/firstrun First Run Configuration

  5. Instantiate and configure your connectors Enterprise Search Connectors

  6. Setup your search experience Search Experience and Query Pipelines

Azure Marketplace Offer

The following steps are the setup steps for our RheinInsights Retrieval Suite when deploying from the Azure Marketplace at Microsoft Azure Marketplace:

  1. Acquire a license

  2. Start the container offer as described at Running the Azure Marketplace Offer

  3. Execute https://<baseurl>/firstrun First Run Configuration

  4. Instantiate and configure your connectors Enterprise Search Connectors

  5. Setup your search experience Search Experience and Query Pipelines
