Search Engine

This step performs the actual search against a given search engine. Search Engines are configured in as described at Managing Search Engines . It calls the search engine with the given parameters:

  1. query

  2. synonyms

  3. filters

  4. query vector representation

Configuration

  1. Search engine. Here you need to specify exactly one search engine as defined at Managing Search Engines . If you want to call multiple search engines, then use our search federator as described at Search Federator .

  2. Number of results per page. This defines how many search results per page will be returned. If this is a value >0 then it overrides the page size as given in the query. For instance, this is needed, if your AI should do research on more than 10 search results.
