First Run Configuration

  1. Please make sure that you started either the Docker container, or the service.

  2. Open 

    https://<host>/firstrun

  3. Please accept the self-signed certificate which the Suite is shipped with

  4. And follow the steps in the firstrun wizard, which are described at

    1. Database Settings

    2. Authentication Provider

    3. Role Management

    4. License Management

Multi Node Environments

The RheinInsights Retrieval Suite relies on a common enterprise database to coordinate the work of all nodes in the cluster.

Therefore please note that you need to make sure to configure the database connection on all nodes. This can be done by either

  1. copying the base configuration file from config/sql.json to all nodes or

  2. to open https://<host>/firstrun on all nodes


This means, that if you have a load balancer set up, you need to work around it for /firstrun.
